BH Adjustable Center Crossheads offer many advantages compared to other crosshead brands available. On models up to a core size of 1-1/4", the core tube has a single adjustment at the rear of the crosshead which allows the operator to adjust the axial and rotational position of the tip. This is a much better and easier to operate design than the yoke style of crosshead which requires the movement of multiple nuts and bolts to adjust the tip.

Also, BH crossheads have a wedge ring which seals against the die during operation, preventing any leakage. This design allows the die to be adjusted while extruding without loosening the die holder.
